Bonsai Jiu-Jitsu North Carolina is unlike any other Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Goldsboro. Rooted in camaraderie, we welcome students from all walks of life into our Jiu-Jitsu classes. Cultivating a culture of teamwork creates a family-like atmosphere that gives people a real reason to continue training. The passion for BJJ is contagious. We pass it down to our students so they can carry it through their lives and continue spreading the joy of martial arts.
Our History:
Ruben Rivas opened Bonsai Jiu-Jitsu North Carolina to follow his passion for training and to bring BJJ classes to Goldsboro. His hardwork and dedication led to sudden growth in just a couple years. Going from a small academy in January 2020 to the largest academy in Wayne County by August 2023 exceeded Ruben’s expectations. As Bonsai Jiu-Jitsu North Carolina continues to grow and improve, Ruben strives to inspire future martial artists. There is no better job than to live out your passions so he gladly seizes the opportunity to continue expanding the academy.
